Sassuolo, 12 July 2016 - Monocibec and Century porcelain stone is the protagonist of Fincibec Engineering raised floors, new technical solutions developed to provide a satisfactory response to designer needs. The next Cersaie, to be held in Bologna from 26th to 30th September, will represent an opportunity to discover all the details of this fascinating new Fincibec innovation, developed for both indoor use and specific outdoor solutions.

The structure, which supports and raises the walking surface of floors, creates a technical space that can be used to house technological networks and wiring and plumbing systems needed to develop new buildings. The system is also ideal for the recovery of existing buildings, including those with historical and artistic value. A functional aspect that improves living comfort and reduces management and maintenance costs, as well as the need for changes to the system. Moreover, given that raised floors are considered comparable to office furniture, the structure benefits from accelerated depreciation just like false ceilings and dividing walls.

Thanks to the vast range of aesthetic options in the Monocibec and Century catalogues, designers will enjoy the luxury of selecting their preferred material, whether stone or cement, resin or wood, thus highly personalising the ceramic finish in terms of both colour and texture. Fincibec raised floors can be used in the broadest range of situations and contexts, for example private homes, public buildings, offices, shopping centres, banks, hotels, schools, workshops, stations, airports, theatres, hospitals, museums, libraries and shops.

Raised floors designed for outdoor areas use specific outdoor collections featuring an R11 A+B+C grip finish and 20 mm thickness. They are laid on different types of supports (fixed, height-adjustable and self-levelling) and can be used at the desired height.
