(Chicago, IL - June 2016) Now in its 48th edition, NeoCon continues to serve as the premier launching pad for the commercial interiors industry. Showcasing “design that works,” NeoCon 2016 will focus on innovative solutions for the workplace, as well as hospitality, healthcare, and education sectors. Products will address the latest demands of the market—from the greater need for privacy and resurgence of softer colors, to the continuing importance of wellness and comfort. This year, The Mart will welcome five new permanent tenants including Architex, Clarus Glassboards, Koleksiyon, Muraflex and naughtone, just in time for the show. In addition, a vast majority of the showrooms have been redesigned as companies seize the powerful NeoCon moment to unveil both their spaces and their new products.

According to Byron Morton, Vice President of Leasing, NeoCon, “Our permanent showrooms are 100% occupied and we’re proud to welcome five top-notch brands to the building. In order to facilitate this, we redeveloped a portion of the 11th floor, adding approximately 7,000 square feet of permanent showrooms to NeoCon. These new additions further underscore the strength of the show and the state of the industry as a whole.”

Hot on the heels of its North American debut at NeoCon last year, Turkish brand Koleksiyon is further enhancing its presence in the US market with a new 4,000 square foot showroom on the 11th floor (11-113A). It will highlight the company’s focus on collaborative workspaces and serve as an exhibition space for its diverse product offerings for contract, hospitality and residential settings. Also on the 11th floor, Quebec-headquartered Muraflex, is transforming suite 11-117A into a prime center of operations and display. Muraflex focuses solely on the demountable wall industry and is dedicated to delivering turn-key solutions. Architex, an expert manufacturer of contract fabrics is moving into suite 11-117. Clarus Glassboards, an innovator in the glass dry erase and architectural systems sector is moving into suite 1033A. Also making the tenth floor of the Mart its new Chicago base is rapidly growing British company naughtone in suite 10-110. Additional companies debuting new spaces at NeoCon include Mayer Fabrics, which is relocating to suite 1173, and Groupe Lacasse, which is celebrating 60 years with a complete redesign of their showroom in suite 1042.

The showroom reveals will be complemented by equally exciting product launches on floors three, ten and eleven. Here is a sneak preview of just some of the standout new solutions that attendees can expect to discover by permanent showroom floor, from the ground up.
