CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio (April 6, 2016) Americhem Inc. will introduce new enhancements to its nVision™ line of color and additive masterbatches at the IDEA 2016 International Engineered Fabrics Conference & Expo, May 3-5, 2016, at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center in Boston, Mass. nVision masterbatches can be customized as a functional solution for various applications, providing industry-leading color and uniformity in a single pellet.

"One of the features of our masterbatches that customers value the most is nVision's processability," said Robert Baldy, nonwovens market manager for Americhem. "Our customers tell us that nVision masterbatches simply run better than competing products."

Factors that ensure nVision's ease of processing include the ability to reach exacting color standards, reduced aggregates and agglomerates, lower pack pressure rise and the virtual elimination of die-face buildup. Americhem tests each product in the nVision line for pack pressure rise and volatility through proprietary test methods. These tests, certified by third-party independent verification, have proven that nVision's low pack pressure rise and low volatility contribute to improved processability when compared with other masterbatch technologies.

Nonwovens producers can benefit from nVision?s diverse portfolio which offers a wide range of color and additive functionality. In addition to industry-leading color, nonwovens manufacturers can select from numerous additives which are available as stand-alone products or made into multi-attribute masterbatches. Additive options include mBrace™ softening additives, nDuramax® UV stabilizers, nShield™ antimicrobials, antistatics, hydrophilic and hydrophobic additives.

"Americhem builds customized solutions that are specifically tailored to match customers' manufacturing methods, equipment and raw materials," Baldy said. "This ensures smooth production with higher yields and less waste. The product scientists in our research and development labs specialize in meeting tight color tolerances and end-use properties to ensure our customers get the best products possible. We continue to innovate on our customers' behalf and new options are always being added to the nVision line of products."

Customers can also take advantage of Americhem's pilot lines, including a spunbonded nonwovens line and a high-speed take-up winder for continuous filament capabilities. This allows nonwovens companies to test products without interrupting their production schedules.
