Accella Achieves Second IAAF Certification for its Tru-Motion Athletic Track Systems, Tru-Motion SA

ST. LOUIS, February 17, 2016 – Accella Polyurethane Systems, a business unit of Accella, announced IAAF certification of Tru-Motion SA at the ASBA (Athletic Sports Builders Association) Conference in Punta Cana, Dominion Republic winter meeting. Tru-Motion SA is commonly referred to as a “sandwich” running track construction. This system complements Tru-Motion SS as another IAAF certified product from Accella Performance Materials. World records are only recognized on track systems certified by the IAAF organization.

Tru-Motion, for indoor multi-purpose surfaces, outdoor running tracks, and playground safety surfaces serves the athletic, play/safety and multi-purpose markets and meets the strict technical requirements for use in track systems including those used for Olympic and international competition tournaments.
