Nebraska Lumberyard Calls It Quits

(June 1, 2015) Earl Carter Lumber, Lincoln, Ne., closed April 21 after 67 years.

Dean Blattert, who bought the company with his father in 1993, intends to remain in the construction industry in some capacity.

He is looking for partners to possibly convert his facility into a wood products manufacturing operation.
