Fire Destroys Three Buildings at N.Y. Lumberyard

(April 8, 2015) - More than 100 firefighters battled a fire that destroyed three buildings at Mid-State Lumber, Warwick, N.Y., April 2.

Firefighters from 20 departments worked diligently to contain the fire until late morning the following day. No fire hydrants were nearby the Lumberyard, making the job difficult for responders.

By the time the fire was contained, three buildings were engulfed, including an outside storage facility. The fire has been ruled an accident and authorities are still investigating the cause. No injuries have been reported.
